CARE Australia is looking to fill the position of Food Security and Livelihoods Project Manager in our Vanuatu Office. This position is responsible for the implementation and completion of the DFAT funded agriculture and recovery project on Tanna Island, ensuring all activities are implemented on time, scope and budget. The role will also support relevant needs assessment, design and implementation for food security and agriculture as part of CARE Vanuatu’s El Nino response.
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in the emergency food security livelihoods and/or agriculture sectors. Your familiarity with the requirements of key humanitarian donors policies and procedures, as well as experience working in a multi-donor environment will be highly regarded. A demonstrated ability to design and manage appropriate emergency food security and livelihood programs will set you apart from others. Your experience in capacity building of staff and proven leaderships skills will be complemented your ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships.
