CARE is a leading international humanitarian aid organisation fighting global poverty, with a special focus on working with women and girls to bring lasting change to their communities.
CARE International in Vanuatu is looking to fill the new position of WASH Program Manager in our Vanuatu Country Office. This position is responsible for the management and coordination of the WASH portfolio which has a focus on El Nino and Cyclone Recovery WASH activities for all islands in the province of Tafea.
To perform highly in this role and to compliment your strong WASH technical experience, you will have strong program management, communication and capacity building skills. Your attention to detail and proven organisational and time management skills will be complemented by your ability to manage workflows and balance competing priorities to ensure timely processing to meet deadlines. Your high-level of awareness of environmental health issues as applied to emergency/recovery settings, with special attention to the needs of women and children will set you apart from others.
