CARE is a leading international humanitarian aid organisation fighting global poverty, with a special focus on working with women and girls to bring lasting change to their communities.

CARE International in Myanmar is looking to fill the newly created position of Learning and Research Officer in Sittwe, Rakhine State. The role is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of research for the livelihood consortium, and oversees the routine monitoring and evaluation efforts for the CARE implemented program in the three townships in northern part of Rakhine. This role involves ensuring that monitoring and evaluation is technically sound and implemented in timely manner and support decision making and scheduled reporting. The role also supports other technical research by providing input about appropriate methodology and analysis.

Your experience with SPSS package and advanced application knowledge of MS packages as well as excellent understanding of gender, diversity and women’s empowerment will make you an ideal candidate for this role. Your excellent communications skill and ability to maintain comprehensive records and filing systems will set you apart from others. Your experience with field work in challenging working environment in addition to quantitative and qualitative research methodology and development of questionnaires for electronic data collection would be an advantage to serve in the role.
